Hire The Belsize Community Library

Belsize Community Library is an open space in a Grade II listed building full of natural light. It’s available for hire outside library opening hours.

Capacity: 50 people standing or 30 seated.

Whether it’s a family gathering, birthday bash, or a simple get-together, we’ve got everything you need. The Library is perfectly suited for all parties as well as children’s birthday parties. From cleaning services to access to our fantastic facilities, we cover it all. Book your party with us and be treated to a hassle-free, fun-filled event in a safe and stimulating environment.

Included in all our party packages:

• The child’s library (a section of the library specifically for children which contains toys, books, and smaller furniture)
• The kitchen (contains a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, sink, cutlery) 
• Host cleaning (the member of staff we provide on the day will clean the library for you after your event) 
• 3 tables and 27 stools (height adjustable tables, this furniture is more child friendly) 

Meetings

The library is perfect for your meetings long or short.

Please note there is an additional cost for parties, due to the extra cleaning and resources required. There will be an additional charge on the day if your meeting is a party.

• Please note for parties and meetings
• The definition of a party is a gathering with music, food and/or entertainment. If you have 15 + guests it will be deemed as a party and if you are celebrating an occasion it will also be deemed as a party (i.e birthday party, baptism, holy communion, bar mitzvah, anniversary etc).
• Please note if you choose to use the Library as a meeting and it is deemed as a party you will be charged an additional fee. 
• You will need to ensure any rubbish is removed from the venue and nothing that you have brought with is left behind. Please leave the space as you found it.
• Bouncy Castles / Animals / Fireworks / Helium Balloons /Foam/Fog/Smoke and/or Snow Machines are not permitted for Health & Safety Reasons. You will be liable to make an additional payment if any of the above are brought into the Library. 
• You are not responsible for the vacuuming and mopping of the venue.
